When you’re out skiing in the Obergurgl-Hochgurgl ski area, does your mouth start to water at the mere thought of soup with bacon dumplings, goulash soup, cheese noodles, Tyrolean Gröstl, Kaiserschmarren, sweet dumplings or strudel with vanilla sauce? Then you’ll be in good hands at the Downhill Grill – the deluxe ski hut. Tyrolean specialities and Austrian classics range from local sausage with horseradish, traditional platters of cold cuts, and beef broth – with either fried batter pearls, strips of pancake or liver dumplings – to frankfurters, pork schnitzel and Tyrolean calves liver. If that all sounds a bit too substantial, we recommend a fresh salad, toasted sandwich or filled baguette. And if you have a sweet tooth, why not enjoy some strudel, cake, ice cream or one of our hot classics?
